Citizens of LA

So, I recently popped over to Hollywoodland to keep a check on things out there. I stayed at the rather fabulous Sunset Tower Hotel. It’s an Art Deco dream. It’s also a hop, skip and jump from my favourite LA pancake pitstop, Mel’s diner:

Whilst in town, I went to see the supreme kings of LA denim, Jerome Dahan and Adriano

Some things that I like no. 2

My new favourite thing is to sit out in the garden. Mostly because it has been shazzed up with my Christopher Kane inspired dahlia pots. Neon pink and yellow dahlias. WHO KNEW.
So have been looking around for the perfect tea sit to entertain in said jardin with. This one from Whittards of Chelsea (who FYI are celebrating their 125th birthday

Some things that I like no. 1

Stumbled across this rather chic little website www.celialindsell.com. It’s choc full of all sorts of deliciousness sent straight from the mothership of style, FRANCE. J’adore! Perfect for picking up pressies – lovely bundles of lavender bags, plus beach perfect sarongs and kaftans.
If you see me on the sand, I’ll be toting this red striped number (£45)

Things I have learnt

Bonjour, bonjour
Here are some things I have learnt so far this summer:
Lake Como is THE most divine place ever.
Berlin is almost TOO much fun.
I am Twitter OBSESSED. (shameless self-promotion: @missVmoss). If you are too, the only thing I can proscribe is Grace Dent’s book ‘How To Leave Twitter.’
Lovebox on a Sunday is an excellent place to work on your disco

The brow issue

Victoria Moss

I’ve been in a right old eye brow debacle.
Making like it’s still the 90s and pluck, pluck, plucking away.
I called an emergency meeting at BEAUTY HQ.
They swiped those tweezers off me, and penalised me with 6 LONG WEEKS of having to just.let.them.grow.
It was misery untold. But duly after the allotted time, off they packed me back to Urban Retreat and

Back with a bang

Victoria Moss

Apols for the radio silence. But the thing is, one simply had to take some TIME OFF.
All this telling ya’ll what to wear on a daily basis can become exhausting.
I had a couple of days to bumble around London town before jetting off on a ahem, RyanAir aeroplane, to Morocco of all places.
Going through the beach time wardrobe one thing

Partied out

Victoria Moss

I had fun last night. Possibly not as much fun as if I’d been at the Gaga / Annabel’s gig but almost.
This is what we did:
Nicholas Kirkwood store opening, on Mount Street. This is exactly the right street to open a store on. With neighbours like Marc Jacobs, Balenciaga, Louboutin and Roland Mouret (who popped in to say bonjour) where

The new specs

Victoria Moss

So (is it terrible to start with a so? probably, but there we are), so, something had been niggling at me for a while. All printed florals had taken on a sort of fuzzy Erdem from last season spectre (‘surely, not everyone can be copying him?’ I thought), stripes had lost their sharpness, and I was the last person in

Tweet me…

Victoria Moss

So like a kabillion years after everyone else, I have joined this twitter thing. What can I say, fashionably late is just so much more chic non?

Paris in springtime

Victoria Moss

We are all officially fashed-out exhausted.
The shows are over (slight sob, slight sigh of relief) and it is back to normal desk service. Paris, was however so divine! So gorgeous! So sunny! So full of scandal and gossip! It was tres. Top three highlights:
1. The YSL party. We disco-ed down to Hercules and Love Affair. It was immense.
2. Karl’s volcano,
