Foot candy

My obsession with divine footwear continues… step up A Piedi, which has an extraordinarily bountiful collection of sandals, pumps and ballet flats for us to don IF THE RAIN EVER STOPS.

Check out the two-tone ballerina pumps (very Lanvin sans the hefty price tag) or the minimalist chunky white sandals which scream Kruger-esque chicness. I might just have to snap up both.

For downtime trotting, what better shoe than Superga? Head over to my favourite boutique, Austique, to snap up a pair (and maybe some of their jewelry if you are feeling flush… oh that Sydney Evan evil eye necklace…). Anyway, now that Superga has been given the Alexa touch – surely more potent than even the Midas these days: as a friend of mine huffed, “I’ll have to find a new favourite shoe, now that Alexa’s advertising it” – these sporty plimpsolls will inevitably become the shoe of the summer, particularly the fun candy pink ones.

Jane ballerina pump in camel/brown £62 and Carmen sandal in stone £60 from apiedi.co.uk; Candy pink Superga plimpsoll £40 at austique.co.uk
